Fire Rock Burgers & Brews in Big Bear Lake

This place is amazing!!!!! The most delicious chicken wings that I’ve ever tried just with dry rub. I drive 45 minutes just to get these wings. And the custom burgers or chicken are ridiculous good, try this place and you won’t be disappointed.

Our first time at this place, Amazing!! 👍Loved the environment, the service, the food specially the dry rub wings. Can’t wait to go again. It’s worth the drive!!😉

Amazing food! This place has become a regular stop for us during our visits to town. The staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. On our most recent visit we had a hero waiter who was willing to sift through bags of garbage to help find a missing retainer - they definitely go above and beyond! The place is popular, so make reservations or expect to wait for a table - but believe me, the wait will be worth it!

Burger was fantastic! Cooked perfectly. Ambience in and out of the place was nice. And the beer menu was large.

Walked in on a busy Saturday, was greeted happily by the bartenders, told there’s a long wait for dine in, so we ordered some beers and drank on the patio waiting for takeout. Came out in 10 minutes and the burgers were fantastic. Recommend getting takeout and drinking beers while waiting

Can't say anything for the food as we experienced a pretty lackluster experience, we walked in and stood for approximately 5 minutes before leaving due to not even receiving a hello from staff. They surely looked at us yet with no acknowledgement it was an easy decision to walk out.

Food is delicious and priced well for being in the heart of tourist area. Portions are sized well, especially for the children. Give it a try the next time you are in Big Bear.

Relaxed, rocker atmosphere in the middle of the Big Bear downtown area. Great craft beer selection with amazingly creative burgers to pair them with. The staff was very knowledgeable about the beer and recommended a killer red ale. All in all a great experience and I would recommend that everyone make this a destination for a dinner solution while in the area.

Despite their website and google saying that they are doing take out they are not. Manager wouldn't even look at my wife when the server asked if they would do it. They told my wife no take out. Our only option is to sit down and dine. 98% of patron's are not wearing masks. And they are not eating food. Really disappointed. We would have dropped $50 here our money is going somewhere else.

I ordered a (quite large) takeout order for my visiting family last night. The staff was timely in serving me and our food was superb. But what most impressed me was that during a time when it is very challenging to keep a restaurant running at a manageable capacity, I sat and watched several customers treat the staff with impatience and entitlement, yet the staff continued to respond so graciously. If you choose to eat here (or anywhere during COVID for that matter), please remember the ringer that the restaurant industry has been through and conduct yourselves accordingly. Thank you, Fire Rock, for amazing service, delicious food, and impeccable self conduct. I will definitely be stopping in if/when I am in Big Bear again!

They had great music. The service was fast. The burgers are the bomb. The only reason Im giving 4 stars is because they ran out of the fuel so I could not try the smores.

Friendly host and waiter. The Burgers Were Sooooo Good! Especially after a 3 hour hike at Castle Rock I tried my cousins burger: ‘Californication’ (which was my 2nd option) and it was tasty Buuuut ‘Bat Country’ my burger was boooomb! Booming with flavor and not overwhelming amount of garlic (although the garlic is key), fresh off the grill and fries were fried to perfection! Theme is cool, which of course complimented the music played and the names of their “Headliners” (the entrees) matching the best song names in Rock 🎸

Great selection of interesting burgers. Absolutely brilliant flavors. We've been once and the service was incredibly slow, but we hope that was a fluke that we can adjust our options on future trips. We'll be going back soon

Good spot for tasty meal in the village. My kiddos had some delicious shakes waiting for our meal. The burgers were great and worth the wait. We had the skillet chocolate chip cookie with ice cream and whip on top!

Great find in Big Bear! I loved the creativity of the menu and would've ordered one of each if I could've. I tried the "House of the Rising Sun" and "Freak on a Leash." Both were extremely flavorful. I loved the mango beer I got as well. I was a little disappointed that all of the beers I wanted for a flight were unavailable because I wanted to try more. Patio was the perfect place to bring my pup.

The food was amazing, the place is a bit small but definitely worth it. Our waiter was good but the staff around him didn't really do much. We asked for some ranch to one of the workers and she seemed a bit bothered that we asked her for things and I ended up having to get up and ask for it again. They need some better team work, other than that everything was awesome.

Really good spot to grab food. Super friendly staff that took great care of us. We are new in town, we asked a few questions about recommendations for things to do and the staff gave us great advice. There food is incredible, made fresh and have a good flavor. Such a fun atmosphere that has great options for beer or burgers. Great menu, great vibe and a friendly staff.
